MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Our Medical Director and Physicians are licensed by the State of Florida and have training in the Art of Science, Hospitality, Bed-side manners, Cross-Culture communications, and House calls. They also provide clinical and administrative consultation to our Physician Assistants on nationally recognized treatment guidelines and Clinical issues. Our Medical Director also provides chart review, script review, and on site live patient evaluation with the Physician Assistant. He also meets other specific duties required by state law with our Nurses and Physical Therapy professionals.
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Our Physician Assistants (also known as PA’s) are health care professionals licensed by the state of Florida to practice medicine under a collaborative agreement with our medical directors. They do many of the things your doctor can do including prescribing medication, treating most common illnesses, and administering physical exams. To receive national certification graduates of physician assistant programs take an exam developed by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and the National Board of Medical Examiners. They must also participate in a rigorous continuing medical education and recertification process.
NURSES AND PHYSICAL THERAPISTS
All of our Nurses and Physical Therapist must meet the following criteria:
• Must be registered and licensed in the State of Florida.
• Must have an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Have more than 10 years experience in home health care.
• They are also required to go through a rigorous background check.
